Hosting a screening of Jesus Was a Migrant is straightforward. You purchase a screening license, receive everything you need to run a great event, and screen the film with your community.
Your group gathers in one location. You stream the film through a secure link on a laptop connected to a projector or screen via HDMI. This is the most common setup for churches, community organizations, and campus groups.
Your group watches together online at a scheduled date and time. Each participant accesses the film on their own device. This works well for dispersed or remote communities. Watch parties require a 3-business-day lead time to schedule.
Access to the film for a limited screening window, plus a Screening Host Kit with a discussion guide, hosting tips, and "What Next?" resources for your audience.
You can add a virtual or in-person Q&A session with director Lauren Vernea following your screening. Sessions run 30 to 60 minutes and are priced by audience size. See the FAQ below for full pricing.

The film examines a tension within American Christianity, so it is rooted in a Christian theological framework. That said, it also focuses on the larger context of loving your neighbor and what it means to help those who are in need. We believe that you don't need to be a Christian in order to appreciate the message that is portrayed in this film.
